This is not some mainstream love or typical drama but it's something which is really close to my heart. It was 12 years ago, when i started watching football. It was a mere accident. I wasnt aware of this game, but my dad was a complete football geek, and as a kid i was always up to copying everything he did. So on one very day, i decided to just sit beside him and watch a match and see what's so interesting that it always occupied my dad's weekend. I wasnt even that excited about the match, but i kept on asking dad all the details regarding the match so that it ignites some sense of will to watch it. I remained completely passive about it the entire day. It was already 6 in the evening and dad was ready as usual infront of the TV set, he usually used to take mom alongside him so that he is not alone, tho mom didn't understand a goddamn shit about football. Today, i was gonna join in too, not excited at all. It was 6.30 and the match began. Arsenal was the club and dad supported them with all his heart. It was the 18th match of the tournament but 1st for me. It took me a bit of time to get into groove, first half an hour went in understanding the rules. Though i remember, the score still said 0-0. I wasnt expecting much tbh but when the second half whistle blew, even i got a bit engaged in the game, knowing all the rules, it was becoming a bit easy to find the groove, And then there it was in the 85th minute, a Scintillating Goal from Denny Bergkamp, i screamed the shit outta my throats after that winning goal. When the match ended, i was talking to dad like a pro. This was the point when i knew, it's gonna go long. This was my first encounter with something i started to love like anything, ARSENAL.
